On Monday, July 11, 2022, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak received a gracious visit from His Holiness Catholicos-Patriarch Mar Awa III, Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East at the Mor Aphrem Center in Paramus, New Jersey. His Holiness was accompanied by Mar Paulus Benjamin and Mar Abris Youkhana. The local clergy of the Archdiocese were also present.

His Eminence welcomed His Holiness and during the visit they discussed the relations between the two churches and the challenges our brothers and sisters are facing in the Middle East.

Archbishop Kawak thanked His Holiness for his warm and friendly visit, which was then followed by an agape meal.
