Jermain Tamraz (ܓܪܡܝܢ ܬܡܪܙ) is a well-known Assyrian folk singer within the Assyrian community worldwide. Originally from Iran, she currently residents in the United States. Jermain was the first Assyrian female singer to come to Australia in the late 1970's for recording. Recorded in Sydney, in the then-newly opened SBS studio in 1980, Tamraz is shown singing along with Assyrian dance in the following video.
