In
her second opening statement on last night's "Justice," Judge Jeanine
Pirro pointed out that just a few days ago, the world recognized the 100
year anniversary of the Armenian Christian genocide.
"It
seems that we are doomed to watch history repeat itself," Judge Jeanine
asserted, noting the terrible, ongoing slaughter of Christians in the Middle
East.
"And
if you're a Christian and worried, there is not much that should put you at
ease. As the Earth continues spinning, no one is willing to stand up for the
Christians."
And
now for my view on the continuing slaughter of Christians in the Middle East.
You
know, we were horrified when we first heard about Christians killed in Mosul,
Iraq, the remaining Christians and Yazidis not slaughtered moving from Mosul
and then the killing of 21 captured Egyptian Christians at the hands of ISIS,
the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot and reports that 12 Christians were
thrown overboard from a refugee boat by Muslims, an Easter weekend attack
targeting Christians in Aleppo, Syria, by jihadists and the latest: an ISIS
video showing the brutal murder of groups of Ethiopian Christians.
As a
result of continuing threats as well as these high-profile, high-production,
Hollywood-like videos, more and more Christians are leaving not only the Middle
East, but North Africa, as well.
Where
will they go? Who will take them? And will they ever be safe?
You
know, just a few days ago, the world recognized the 100 year anniversary of the
Armenian Christian genocide. It seems that we are doomed to watch history
repeat itself.
The
United States is run by a commander-in-chief who can't even say the word
"Christian" or "Islamic fundamentalist." It's just “people
dying.”
And
if you're a Christian and worried, there is not much that should put you at
ease. As the Earth continues spinning, no one is willing to stand up for the
Christians.
My
fear is that in 100 years, there will be another anniversary of genocide, this
time of the Christians in the Middle East.
