The vandalism and destruction carried out by the gangs of (Daesh) terrorists to the history and the heritage of the Mesopotamia civilization which was emerged thousands of years ago is but an extension of the policy of displacement, murder and rape exercised by this barbaric terrorist organization against our people, where the barbarism of destroying human civilization has been one of the characteristics of the Islamic State of Daesh, nothing was spared from that destruction, the scriptures, the monuments, places of worship of all kinds, not even human who is considered an absolute value after they dealt with her/ him with hatred and backwardness.
The parties and the organizations of our Chaldean Syriac Assyrian strongly condemned the brutal sabotage which affected the historical monuments in the Mosul Museum, and the demolition of the Iraqi heritage, as well as the whole human history.
We call on the concerned authorities to chase these terrorists and to punish them with the severest retribution, also to consider this crime as the most heinous crimes against human heritage, and we also call on civil society organizations, in particular the UNESCO to carry out its role in the preservation of Iraqi antiquities.
