Mrs. Theresa Esho the representative of the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council  in Denmark accompanied with the deputy of External Relations of the Council Loay Manuel visited Mr. Faheem Abdullah Hamou Chairman of Dohuk province council. The two sides talked about the current situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region after the control of the Islamic Sate ( Daesh) on regions and cities in Iraq, including Mosul, and emptying Nineveh Plain of its indigenous components, including our CSA people, and displacing the Yazidies from their areas of origin in Sinjar. The two sides had mutual views on Kurdistan Region and the Peshmerga’s efforts -in cooperation with Baghdad and the Iraqi Army - for the liberation of the Iraqi territories and the Nineveh Plain from Daesh, as well as speeding the returning of those components to their areas, with full protection, and starting to reconstruct those areas and compensating those affected.
The two sides also emphasized on the national cohesion and the acknowledgement of the other, as well as every component’s right of full and equal representation in all the state and the provincial facilities, also renouncing violence, extremism, and partisanship; and ensuring the dignity and the protection of the displaced people who took refuge in the region, where their number reached to more than one million and 700.000 citizens of various Iraqi components.
At the end of the meeting the delegation was bid a warm farewell as it was received.
