The Supreme Judicial Council approved on the opening of alternative sites to Hamdania and Tilkaif court, this came after MP Raed Isaac Matti member of the Iraqi parliament paid a visit to the Supreme Judicial Council and met with Judge Medhat Al-Mahmoud Chairman of the Board, where he presented to him the recent request of the bishops members of the Nineveh Bishops Council, to open alternative sites for the courts of Hamdania, Ba'shiqah and Tilkaif. It was approved to locate the substitute court of Hamdania in Shaykhan region, and the substitute court of Tilkaif in Alqush region.
   According to MP Isaac that the work in the two new sites will begin from the date of issuing the approval letter, that is Wednesday 10/29/2014, and the displaced people of the mentioned areas will be able to complete their transactions processes including (marriage contracts, inheriting papers, birth and death certificates, etc) and the rest of the transactions that fall within the jurisdiction of these courts.
   It is noteworthy that the MP suggested to the members of the Nineveh Bishops Council to submit a request to the Supreme Judicial Council in this regard.
