At the invitation of the Presidency of the Christian Democratic Union, Mr. Kamel Zozo official of the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council in Germany participated in the Cultural Diversity Conference held by the leadership of the Party in Berlin on 10.22.2014.

On the sidelines of the conference Zozo met with Dr. Angela Merkel, the German chancellor and head of the Christian Democratic Party, where he presented an explanation on the suffering of the CSA Christian people, especially after their flee from the Nineveh Plain regions, where thousands of them are living and sleeping in public places and parks, and how things will get worse for them with the approaching of winter and the lack of aid, urging her and her government to find a solution for them.
