Toronto, Canada (National Post)— A 29-year-old Assyrian man was stabbed to death Sunday morning at a plaza in Vaughan, just north of Toronto.

The victim was Evan Gorgees, aged 29, of Toronto. Police say he was stabbed when a fight broke out among a group of 80 people around 3 a.m.

The incident occurred at the Al-Finjan, a Middle Eastern nightclub that has only been open about four months at a plaza at 8000 Highway 27.

When police arrived on the scene they came across several people fighting and a man suffering from stab wounds.

They say the individuals, including the man who was killed, were patrons of a night club located in the plaza.

The local police is looking for witnesses and have made no arrests.
