Under the auspices of Mr. Sarkis Aghajan, Batanya Cultural Centre was opened in 19/09/2010. The objective was to work for holding various activities in the field of writing, darma, folklore as well as holding cultural, social, and health seminars.

The number of the general body of the centre has reached 120. The managerial board members were elected by the general body comprising (7) members.

The centre has folklore and theatrical troupes and carries out various activities.
