Sheikh Abdullah al-Yawar

(Aswat Al-Iraq) NINEVEH - The Iraqi Justice and Reform Movement announced today that it rejects the formation of a province in the Ninewa plateau, warning that this step may divide the country.

Sheikh Abdullah al-Yawar, the group's secretary general, told Aswat al-Iraq that "we reject such calls as it is a division of Iraq."

The Assyrian political gatherings, consisting of 14 parties and political entities, held talks with other Iraqi blocs on the formation of a new province in the Ninewa plateau.
